Design Is In the Details: Cabinet Hardware

H. Theophile Hardware Martineau Vermillion Interior Design While looking for unique cabinet hardware for a client I stumbled across the following luxury line.

H. Theophile produces highly engineered levers, knobs and escutcheons from a generations old hardware house with roots in Hamburg, Germany and a studio in New York City.

Known for their hand carved door knobs, silver and copper repousse and traditional old world methods of casting such as lost wax and sand casting, H. Theophile is capable of custom designs in their bespoke production.

Every material and finish that a designer could dream up is available, including horn, topaz and rock crystal.

One can see the meticulous attention to detail in the gleaming surfaces cut with machine age precision and highly filagreed escutcheons.

I am in love with this line and excited to find a company that will do any custom piece as long as my client is willing to wait 5 months (no time at all for specialized design) and can commit to several sets of hardware.

Every cabinet, door and drawer wearing these will dazzle.

  1. Wow this stuff is gorgeous! I am leaving here in 2 minutes and going strraight to their site…could be dangerous:) Just waht I need to discover, more expensive high end hardware!! Beautiful though…really stunning.
