than it must be fabulous.
Kate Middleton wore a smashing Jenny Packham dress for the polo match she attended in the United States. Of course she looks amazing in just about anything she wears but when I read that she was wearing de Gournay fabric, my heart skipped a little beat.
The dress was made from a hand painted de Gournay silk in silver and marble grey.
If you are thinking that you would like a hand painted silk dress (or drapery or pillows or whatever) I have good news for you!
Ainsworth Noah carries de Gournay wallpapers and fabrics and they are incredibly beautiful.

Known for hand painted offerings that elegantly salute 18th and 19th century European luxury interiors, de Gournay’s design team reinterprets historical patterns with a keen sense of color.

Charlotte Moss, David Carter and Kit Kemp are among de Gournay fans and I am too.
In an age of mass produced everything, it is so refreshing to know that there is still some artistry left in the world.
Good choice Kate!
Enjoy,

Yes, that is refreshing, and envy enducing! I too am a fan…maybe we can just buy some yardage and call a seamstress?
Stunning post. I too was in love with everything she wore, particularly that dress. The closest thing I have is a beautiful hand painted scarf which I love and treasure. De Gournay can do no wrong…..just fabulous across the board with everything from wallcoverings to dresses!!
So nice to read! I do not know de Gournay yet! Interesting Amy!
I wish you a wonderful week!
