Revealing Sources From Client Projects

I’ve had a lot of emails lately requesting that I divulge sources, pattern names, item numbers etc. from client projects.

While I would love to be of service in that way, I cannot.  At times, such as when a selection is already well known, I can reveal the information and I do so in my blog.

However, my clients are paying a fee for my services–for the design and the implementation of their interiors.  So, I cannot share what they have paid for.

I hope you understand.

Of course if you hire us…we will create something beautiful just for you!

Hope your week is good…we are going underground trying to make some deadlines.

I think you are a very wise woman by not divulging your sources or the other information. This way, your image won’t get tarnished. Loyalty to your clientele is always the key to good business.

Absolutely! I’m right there with you on this one. I also put a little disclaimer on any post where I show client selections stating that I do not give out resources.

I totally agree. I am sure anyone would understand the reasons for your policy.
    Best…Victoria

Amy…..I know…sometimes it’s hard cause I hate to say no! I was just reading some old post and came upon the one about you sweet pup. I am so sorry I missed that. I know how hard it is having had to do the same thing before. Absolutely heartbreaking. There is nothing that will break your heart faster……so so sorry :(

I completely understand….You are running a business and being performing in a Professional manner. Bravo!

  8. Geoff says:

You are absolutely correct in not revealing sources; the client likes to feel that you have done unique concepts; also we suspect chiselers trying to get ideas on the cheap!

  9. Mr. V says:

You provide a service unique to each client. As such, your relationship with your resources is what makes you unique. It would be a disservice to you, your resources, and your clients to reveal that information.
