When one thinks of a circa 1829 home in New Orleans, the obvious image that comes to mind is an antique filled interior with genteel portraits and centuries old rugs. However that is exactly what real estate developer, Sidney Torres did not want for his Fauborg Marigny home.
So Torres turned to architect and designer, Lee Ledbetter to help him realize his vision.
The collaboration was successful and very unexpected.
Architectural Digest has featured the former boutique hotel (owned by Torres) turned contemporary residence.
Here is another Louisiana beauty by Ledbetter- A Bayou home for artist GeorgeDunbar:
Makes me want to plan a trip down to Louisiana!
