Happy Weekend!

Some things are unmistakably recognizable.

Some things are naturally incredible.

So it makes sense that the simply elegant color palette of black and white would translate well to interiors.

Emerald Green may be the Pantone Color of the year for 2013 (what’s not to love) but black and white have my vote.  Black and white are happy playmates with Emerald Green, Coral, Yellow and Violet. So if you are looking for a color to pop with black and white, those are great options.

But for those who like their martinis straight up, their coffee sans cream and their interiors pure…this is for you.

A favorite combo of mine, so classic! I use Bloglovin for all my reading, love it.

  2. It is a classic and, I agree, a great backdrop for a little pop of color.
    Have a wonderful weekend!

Belated, sorry, still having some trouble getting it — but it works better on my browser–
These images are very interesting because one could certainly appreciate black and white for drama, elegant simplicity, and giving a room a certain dominent — even domineering — atmosphere, but here b and w also conveys a sort of happy simplicity and a sign post to other views, other moods…
